Artdeco No 80 – Feeling Sketchy


Hi Thank you so much for running such a fantastic site I feel lucky to have found you. I design my own cards and sell them on my website so its great to do something like this.

When I first looked at the sketch the thing that jumped out to me was the Artdeco Style. I hope you like my take on your beautiful sketch.

Products Used:

Docrafts Papermania Art Deco

1 Decoupage sheet

White & Gold + Black & Silver trim

Green Tara Ribbon

Feather 8 Helmar glue

Scrap dots 3 dimensional glue

Card stock Black & Cream

Black Ink

Kaiser craft Pearls

Silver Trim Green Tara

PC Bling

Trim cream card stock to 6X12, score & fold to make a 6X6 card. You will need to score left side on the diagonal point to point to make a twisted easel card. Score and fold. Cut a piece of black card stock 5 7/8th X 5 7/8th then cut a piece of docraft patterend paper trim to fit onto black card stock add 2 pieces of trim 1 gold and white 1 silver and black to bottom of card. Make up the decoupage fit to cream cardstock trim to fit make sure lightly buff any little lumps on edges I used Kaisercraft file then ink each piece adhere to cardstock using scrap dots or silicone glue. I have made a small tool to apply and keep even place each piece until finished let dry then mount the card add piece bling trim pearls and gems. On the inside cut the card stock to fit as a pockets across bottom left cut patterned paper to trim to fit add row bling using 3D mounts + sentiment make a small tag place in pocket.
